Upstart: the story of Granby Park

In the summer of 2013 the Upstart collective and a group of dedicated volunteers transformed a vacant Dublin site on Dominick street lower into a pop up park. For four weeks, the park became a place of creativity, nature, imagination, play and beauty for everyone. For anyone who was involved, Granby Park was more than a series of temporary structures and installations, it was a place of community, of free arts events, outdoor cinema & theatre performances, live music, educational activities.
