It’s a 50ft tall, half-ton yellow rubber ducky floating down the River Thames in London spreading happiness as it goes. It was launched to publicise a new £250,000 bursary designed to encourage people in the UK to have more fun. It floated along the Thames past the O2, the towers of Canary Wharf, and on towards Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast as part of a publicity stunt organised by Jackpotjoy.com’s new Facebook FUNdation. Who wouldn’t smile at a giant yellow ducky floating past them?

Once there was a baby star.
He lived up near the sun.
And every night at bedtime that baby star wanted to have fun.
He would shine and shine, and fall and shoot and twinkle oh-so-bright.
And he said, “Mommy, I’ll run away if you make me say goodnight.”
And then his mommy kissed his sparkly nose and said,
“No matter where you go, no matter where you are,
no matter how big you grow and even if you stray far,
I’ll love you forever,
because you’re always
my baby star.”
Isn’t that so cute? This appeared at the end of Criminal Minds last night as Agent JJ Jareau read her son Henry a bedtime story over the phone. The book ‘Bedtime for Baby Star’ was a prop created purely for the episode There’s No Place Like Home.
A Wedding Proposal

This is possibly the sweetest wedding proposal ever. On Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012, Isaac told his girlfriend to meet him at his parent’s house for dinner. When she arrived he had stationed his brother to sit her in the back of an open Honda CRV and give her some headphones. He “wanted to play her a song”…
What she got instead was the world’s first Live Lip-Dub Proposal.
I kept thinking what if she said no but of course she said yes!
